The Current

This podium-style building features two levels of post-tensioned concrete slabs, which allow for longer spans, thinner profiles, and enhanced load-bearing capacity to support the four stories of wood-framed multifamily units above. The lower levels accommodate mixed-use space and include tuck-under parking in the north wing, made possible by a large retaining wall. The design showcases modern structural solutions that optimize strength, efficiency, and space utilization.
