Structural Drafter

The Position:

  • This position creates structural drawings from conception to final design on a variety of commercial, education, and residential projects. The starting salary range is $60,000-$70,000 per year depending on your experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with Project Engineers
  • Develop Structural Drawings
  • Integrate Design Changes Into Model & Plans
  • Notify Principal In Charge of Design Conflicts
  • Coordination with Architects & Design Team
  • Maintain Quality Control Standards for Company Drawings
  • Be Actively Involved in Project Coordination
  • Organize Project Files
  • Meet or Exceed Project Deadlines
  • Work with BIM manager to Keep Our Standards and Processes Up to Date

Skills:

  • Three+ Years as Either a Structural or Architectural Drafter
  • Proficient with Revit
  • AutoCAD Experience Is a Plus
  • Tekla Experience Is a Plus
  • Efficiency with Plan Drawings That Meet Our Firm Standards as well as Client, Governmental, and Budget Requirements
  • Detail Orientated
  • Strong Communication Skills

Structural Project Engineer

The Position:

  • Prospective candidate will perform functions consistent with an entry to mid-level professional engineer responsible for all aspects of structural design for a variety of project types.

Responsibilities:

  • Structural Calculations
  • Overall Drawing Production including Quality Control
  • Shop Drawing Review
  • Coordination with Contractors & Design Teams
  • Site Visits & Inspections
  • Overseeing a Project from Conception to Completion with Project Manager/Principal Oversight

Skills/Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
  • E.I.T. Certification Required/Working Toward Obtaining P.E. License
  • 1-5 Years of Structural Engineering Experience
  • Technical Knowledge of: International Building Code, Relevant Design Standards & Construction Means and Methods
  • Effective Communication with Clients and Project Manager/Principal
