Structural Engineer

The Position:

  • Prospective candidate will perform functions consistent with a professional engineer responsible for all aspects of structural design for a variety of project types.

Responsibilities:

  • Review of Specifications
  • Structural Calculations
  • Overall Drawing Production
  • Shop Drawing Review
  • Coordination with Contractors & Design Teams
  • Site Visits & Inspections
  • Overseeing a Project from Conception to Completion

Skills:

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
  • E.I.T Certification Required
  • 1-3 Years of Structural Engineering Experience
  • Technical Knowledge of: International Building Code, Relevant Design Standards & Construction Means and Methods
  • Effectively Understand & Manage: Project Scope, Project Schedule & Design Budget

Structural Drafter

The Position:

  • Prospective candidate will perform functions of creating structural drawings from conception to final design. They will be required to work on a variety of commercial, education and residential projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with Project Engineers
  • Develop Structural Drawings
  • Integrate Design Changes Into Model & Plans
  • Notify Principal In Charge of Design Conflicts
  • Coordination with Architects & Design Team
  • Actively Involved in Project Coordination
  • Organize Project Files
  • Meet or Exceed Project Deadlines

Skills:

  • Minimum 2 Years Experience as Either Structural or Architectural Drafter
  • Proficient with AutoCAD 2018 & Revit
  • Detail Orientated
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • Positive Attitude
  • Ability to Work as a Team & Independently
  • Capable of Handling Multiple Projects at Once
