Pacific Crest Middle School

The Problem

Design a 125,000 square foot middle school with large gymnasium, gathering area and multiple classroom wings in an aggressive four month design and fifteen month construction schedule.

The Solution

A combination wood/steel/CMU structure with many unique design features including: large vaulted areas, multiple dormers for natural lighting, and exposed timber elements creating an inviting environment for students. Our staff was “on call” for the general contractor to assist with any questions to keep the project on schedule.

The Result

A beautiful, state of the art middle school opened on schedule for the 2015-2016 school year, while meeting the District’s construction budget.
